Malaysia.

So I have arrived in Malaysia after a comfortable flight with Jetstar whose policy of not providing food unless additionally paid for didn't really bother me as i'm made of wood and don't need to eat very often...
Arriving at the worlds largest airport in Kuala Lumpur was a little daunting for a 12cm tall man but I successfully boarded the airport train to collect my baggage and despite being a foreign timber cleared immigration with no problems. My first hotel for the night was the Concorde Inn, just 3 km from KLIA and it was a place of luxury. Breakfast and a free shuttle were included in the 230MYR price for the night, as was air-con and cable tv...
It wasn't long however until it was time for me to be on the move again and touching down the next day in Borneo's very humid city of Kota Kinabalu. There is not a great deal to do in KK but I did take a trip out to the islands of Abdul Rahman national park where I enjoyed floating in the warm water and mingling with the various trees and monitor lizards of the island. It has certainly been a nice change from the confines of Chatachak.
Tomorrow I head off to stay in a traditional Dusun village which should hopefully be an amazing experience.
